Around the Lodge, you can hike, snowshoe, cross-country, and mountain bike. In the Lodge there are many games, books and areas to work on your crafts. You can even just kick back and take some well needed rest! Visit our Gift Shop.
Surrounding areas are: (30 minutes to 2 hour drive)
St. Joe National Forest Logging Interpretive Center
Many Hiking sites, great ridge view points.
Rock Hunt in the Emerald Creek Garnet Area.
Pan for Gold or see old dredging sites.
Canoe on the St. Joe River.
Take a car trip through the Silver Mining Valley.
Cruise Lake Coeur d'Alene
Visit Clarkia Miocene Lake at the Fossil Bowl Dig Site.
Raft or jet boat the Salmon or the Snake River.
Find the 3000 year old Giant Cedar.
Bike the Coeur d'Alene or Hiawatha Rail-Bike Trails.
